FAQ

Clear scope from the start

Is this a penetration test?+

No — the standard service is an engineering and security posture assessment and does not include exploitation, penetration testing, social engineering or endpoint forensics

Do you sell hardware or require an MSP contract?+

No — the assessment is independent and vendor-neutral and optional remediation can be scoped separately

Can the assessment be completed remotely?+

Yes — when the required configuration evidence, documentation and access can be supplied securely; physical RF surveys and onsite validation are outside the standard remote scope

What will you need from us?+

Depending on the environment, we may request configuration exports, screenshots, network documentation, device information and appropriate read-only evidence through the agreed secure intake process

Do you make configuration changes during the assessment?+

No — the assessment identifies and prioritizes findings; remediation or configuration changes can be scoped separately when required

Is this a compliance certification?+

No — the standard assessment does not provide legal opinions or compliance certification
